PRESENTATION: Opaque non-woven pyramid teabags are manufactured from the plant-based material PLA. This is a backyard compostable and biodegradable material made from strands derived from corn or sugarcane. The teabag material is certified compostable based on the international standard ISO 14855 and the European standard EN 13432. Teabags are vacuum-packed in a custom bag that controls atmospheric pressure. This bag protects them from moisture, oxygen, and light.
HOT BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
